Creativity and technology meet in Lyon’s Fete des Lumieres: For four nights a variety of different artists light up buildings, streets, squares and parks all over the city.

Millions of visitors both French and from abroad enjoy the friendly and joyful spirit of this unique event, another celebration of the International Year of Light 2015.

Fête des Lumières 2015 Program

The Fête des Lumières 2015 program is expected to be online at the event website starting November, the printed program will be available by the end of November at designated distribution points and at the Tourism Office (Place Bellecour).

You will also be able to find it on the smartphone app for Android or IOS that can be downloaded towards the end of November 2015.

FORUMLED2015: TECHNOLOGIES, PRODUCTS & SYSTEMS

Over the last 6 years ForumLED Europe has become one of the most important events dedicated to LED technology. In 2015, ForumLED Europe affirms its positioning in the whole of the LED light value chain, from electronic components to complete lighting systems, with the base line “LED Lighting Technologies, Products & Systems”.

Smart Lighting Systems

Additionally, ForumLED Europe continues to broaden its horizons to all the components used in “smart” lighting systems, in particular, for 2015, presence, movement and daylight sensor technologies and products. International speakers and exhibitors present will focus both Congress programs and the show on these 2 main themes.

ForumLED Europe is both an international congress (250 participants, 40 nationalities), a show (90 exhibitors, 2,500 visitors) and an Investors Forum.

Lyon preferred above Paris

On the contrary to ForumLED 2014, the 2015 edition will run in Lyon during the international Light Festival “Fête des Lumières 2015“. Over the last 3 years the prevalence of the Rhône-Alpes Region and Lyon Area on the lighting market has been significantly strengthened by the concentration of LED businesses and R&D, the high growth of the Lumière Cluster, the creation of the PISEO laboratory, participation in European programs like SSL-ERATE and the launch of LUMEN, Lyon’s future lighting technology center.

Finally, there are many good reasons why this new edition of ForumLED Europe should be held in Lyon Convention Center to make the event coincide with the center of gravity of lighting in France which the market and the participants have made it.
