Vision 2014: a complete success with a double record

432 exhibitors, of whom 54 per cent came from abroad. Over 8,700 specialist visitors – an increase of around 25 per cent. The visitors came from 56 countries, the share of foreign visitors was 40 per cent. Exhibitors, visitors and organizers are all equally satisfied and consider the change to the biannual rhythm to be a complete success.
Lighting Systems, Lenses & Vision Applications
The exhibitors presented their new developments in machine vision components and systems, such as cameras, image sensors, processing units, frame grabbers, software tools, lighting systems, lenses, cables, accessories and complete application solutions. For the first time, the focus was on industry PCs (IPC) and embedded PC systems which are ideally suited for complex, demanding machine vision applications.
Machine Vision is on the Rise!
Machine vision is encroaching in more and more fields of application and this is reflected by the leading trade fair VISION. 75 per cent of visitors (2012: 76%) came from industry, whereby the machine vision sector itself leads with 35 per cent followed by the automobile and automotive supply industries, mechanical engineering, the electrical and electronics industries, medical technology and pharmaceuticals. When viewed from the aspect of technology, visitors to VISION were primarily interested this time in machine vision components and applications, although turnkey systems were still in high demand.

The preparations for VISION 2016 – the leading world trade fair for machine vision – have already begun. You can already make a note of the dates: 8 – 10 November 2016. The show will be held in Messe Frankfurt again.
