Strategies in Light and the co-located event The LED Show (Las Vegas, Sands Expo & Convention Center) continued to demonstrate a high level of programming with solid-state lighting industry experts, market analysts, and thought leaders throughout the event. On the contrary to Strategies in Light 2014, held in Santa Clara, California, the 2015 show was hosted in the Las Vegas Convention Centre.

2015 Sapphire Awards

On February 25th, the inaugural LEDs Magazine Sapphire Awards Gala recognized the top LED-centric enabling smart lighting technologies and solid-state lighting products, along with the first-ever pronouncement of the Illumineer of the Year. Throughout the night, the best of the best took home Sapphire trophies after the late-night celebration that featured top-notch entertainment, great food and drink, and an enthusiastic and packed house of LED and lighting industry stars.

The 2015 Sapphire Awards winners were announced at the inaugural Sapphire Awards Gala Dinner held in conjunction with Strategies in Light and The LED Show. Congratulations to the 2015 Sapphire Awards Winners!

This prestigious event covered the year’s most innovative products and services in the LED marketplace. The gala highlighted the most inspirational and innovative products in the LED marketplace today. The evening culminated with the announcement of the winner of the Illumineer of the Year award, Philips Lumileds’ Luxeon COB LED CrispWhite Technology Team: Eric Senders, Bob Zona, Rene Helbing, Mushfeque Manzur, and Catherine Othick.

LIGHTFAIR 2014: The New Language of Light

“LIGHTFAIR 2014 OPENS ITS DOORS TO THE LARGEST EVENT IN ITS 25-YEAR HISTORY”

LIGHTFAIR® International 2014 opens its doors to the largest trade show and conference in its 25-year history in less than a week. Thousands of attendees from around the world will converge in Las Vegas from June 1-5 to experience the global stage for lighting, design and technology innovation and an unprecedented lighting education program.

The Lightfair 2014 Conference curriculum features more than 220 hours of education and contains 81 accredited course offerings, making this the largest Conference in LFI history. LIGHTFAIR introduces two Forums this year – LFI Healthcare Lighting Forum and LFI Hospitality Lighting Forum. World-renowned keynote speakers, addressing multiple facets of lighting and design, lead the more than 170 presenters taking the stages during the 5-day Conference program.

Integrated Lighting Design

For LIGHTFAIR 2014, the Pre-Conference program will take place from Sunday, June 1 – Monday, June 2, 2014 and the LFI Trade Show and Conference will run from Tuesday, June 3 – Thursday, June 5, 2014.
