The Light Symposium will be held exceptionally during the International Year of Light 2015, an initiative of a large consortium of scientific bodies together with UNESCO to raise awareness of the potential of light, lighting and lighting technology to provide solutions to global challenges in energy, education, agriculture and health.

Light Symposium KTH 2015: an IYL2015 Contribution
The objective of the Light Symposium KTH 2015 is to be part of and contribute to the International Year of Light.
It will offer sessions by internationally recognized high quality speakers, including 2 keynotes, to provide a wide and deep perspective on the topic and increase the level of the discussions and general knowledge in the field of Architectural Lighting Design.
The Light Symposium entitled has had as main objective the interdisciplinary gathering of any Lighting Profession involved with light, and offered a great opportunity to forge links to international researchers and scientists that support the creation and development of existing networks and value added chains.
The Future of Lighting Design
The future of lighting design within the context of a healthy architecture will be addressed on a two days Symposium dedicated to discuss the possibilities within the broad aspects of light, its fundaments and natural connections.
Selected speakers from around the world whom are representative and leaders in their field will address to the audience they unique perspective.
