ECIO 2018: 20th European Conference on Integrated Optics

The 2018 European Conference on Integrated Optics (ECIO 2018) will celebrate its 20th anniversary this year in Valencia. Held from the 30th May – 1st June 2018, the conference focuses on leading edge research on integrated optics, optoelectronics and nano-photonics. The event gathers experts from academia and industry to show their latest technical results, and showcase their products and services.

The application scope is broad and it ranges from tele/datacom communications, optical interconnects, and optical sensing applications to more disruptive areas as quantum computing and mid-IR photonics.

The ECIO 2017 edition, which took place in Eindhoven, The Netherlands, the conference featured voer 200 hundred attendees.

The European Conference Integrated Optics 2017 will celebrate its 19th edition. Innovation and industry uptake is accelerating, and to capture this increasing pace, all is transited to an annual event.

ECIO Returns to Eindhoven TU

In 2017 the ECIO return to Eindhoven at the Science Park of the Technical University of Eindhoven. The focus will remain the same on leading edge research, providing a forum for experts from industry and academia to share the latest new thinking and exchange new insights and findings in the fields of integrated optics, optoelectronics and nanophotonics.

The 19th European Conference Integrated Optics 2017 will be held in Eindhoven, NL.

Enabling Materials and Photonics Designs

The ECIO conference scope extends from the new enabling materials to the design and modelling of photonic structures, functions, devices and circuits. It also captures innovations in hybrid integration, system on chip and system in package integration. Conference topics include for example waveguide technology platforms, devices and materials, integrated circuits and application of PICs.
