Euroluce 2015 Review: Caught up in the Magic of Light
UNESCO has proclaimed 2015 the International Year of Light, the year in which Euroluce, the biennial exhibition devoted to excellence in the world of lighting, celebrates its 28th edition. Euroluce, the leading lighting sector event, continues its mission to showcase the very latest in lighting solutions for homes, offices, hospitality and the outdoors, as well as light sources and lighting design software. Here are some first impressions of novelties on this years event.
In true Salone tradition, Euroluce 2015 has been accompanied by a collateral event in the city centre, allowing also non-professionals an opportunity to be caught up in the magic of light.
Now into its 28th edition, the International Lighting Exhibition opened its doors to visitors from Tuesday 14th to Sunday 19th April at the Rho Milan Fairgrounds, in synergy with the UNESCO International Year of Light 2015. The huge array of lighting products on offer, combined with innovation and excellence, make Euroluce the benchmark exhibition for the lighting world.
Cultivating Technological Innovation & Design Culture
With 475 of the best Italian and foreign exhibitors in the lighting sector, Euroluce is recognized as the global benchmark lighting exhibition, where technological innovation and design culture take center stage. As always, impressive product innovations and product line extensions were showed to a global audience of lighting designers and architects. Notable were the LG Flexible OLED panels, and the variety of OLED system integrations by LG Chem and it’s partners.
Lighting Inspiration All-Over
The huge array of smart lighting products encompasses the very latest devices for outdoor, indoor and industrial lighting to lighting for shows and events, hospital lighting and special use lighting, lighting systems, light sources and lighting application software.
The countdown to Euroluce 2017 has started. This next edition will again be held in Milan, Italy in April 2017 during the Salone del Mobile.
